take advantage of the difference in the quotes
Live Account Monitoring
Latency or one-leg arbitrage is a trading strategy in which a trader takes advantage of the difference in the quotes feed of two different brokers.
For a number of reasons, some forex brokers might provide market quotes faster than others. This can lead to an arbitrage situation – the prices provided by two brokers for the same security might be different.
If this happens, a trader can open an order with the slower broker, thus entering an arbitrage trade.
